The park encompasses 4 distinct areas that you can reach by train or by feet: • 1880s Pre-Railway Settlement • 1860s Fur Trading Fort and Indigenous Settlement • 1900s Living Historical Village • 1930s to 1950s - Heritage Town Square Each area is full of exciting things to see and do, taking you back in time to the early days of Western Canada's history. Explore inside the historical homes and saloons, see a blacksmith in action, explore the origins of Alberta’s energy industry at Prospect Ridge – including the new STORYSEEKER exhibit. Visit the farm animals in the Ranch Area and find out how Veterinarians plied their trade at the turn of the century in the Vintage Veterinary Exhibit at the Nanton Livery Stable – also new for 2022. Very professional, informative, knowledgeable, narrative by Judy. We toured the most photographic viewpoints in Calgary. We stopped at locations that allowed photographs, nutrient breaks, and a great museum of vintage automobiles. I recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see everything Calgary has to offer and the history that made it happen !!

It was like a private tour, we were the only people. The driver and guide were very nice people. It was just a pity that a very strong wind was blowing, so we couldn't stand on land at a viewing post.

Well received at the entrance and lots of parking. Although a few of the houses were closed we enjoyed our visit

The heritage village is great, the history you can experience and talk to
