What people are saying about Gangwon-do Province

Excellent customer service and tour guide

Excellent tour guide Hye young was very helpful and good. Really enjoyed the tour.

I recommend it, you get to see many beautiful places.

It was well organised, and we had a very good guide (Jones). There is enough time at every location. I learnt a lot about the country. There are four routes inside the National Park, one by cable car (10 extra dollars). Everything else is included. There is a beautiful temple in the park, and a huge statue of Buddha, the biggest in Korea. Naksansa temple is also beautiful, by the sea, with a splendid view from the top. There are some restaurants in the National Park and a shop with souvenirs. The “Lotus Jelly” is delicious. You can make a lotus flower (3 dollars) and you can send yourself a postcard for free, it will reach your place in 6 months. The guide was very polite and knowledgeable.

Overall places of interest in this package is good and enjoyable

Our guide Park did not say much during the trip. It is more like up and down from tour bus. But overall plan for the places to visit is great.

Nami Island with Petite France and Garden of Morning Calm Reviewed by a GetYourGuide customer, 06/25/2018

Morning calm, beautiful; Nami Island, packed; Petite France, film set.

The tour guide Kevin was very good. His translation skills and help were excellent. The Garden of Morning calm was clearly carefully thought out and has seasonal arrangements. Nami Island was packed with other tourists probably 2,000 people. The literature and photos do not give you the full picture. If you are a Winter Sonata buff, go for the fun and food. Petite France was "French" as a caricature. Visually it is good. Sadly no real French food. Clearly a lot of effort has been put it to make it real. Again this is a Korean drama film set. Overall, it was great to see other tourists in their natural habitat, especially the selfie and wifie group
