Full description

Take a day trip to Inisheer (Inis Oirr) from Galway and discover the ancient churches and castles on the smallest of the Aran Islands. Visit the Cliffs of Moher and admire the coastal scenery.

From the meeting point in Galway, get driven south along the Wild Atlantic Way and into the lunar-like Burren region. From there, head to the picturesque fishing village of Doolin where you’ll board the ferry to Inisheer. Once there, explore the island's churches, castles, lighthouses, shipwrecks, cafes, and pubs. Discover one of Ireland's most beautiful beaches and, if you like, take a pony and carriage, hire a bicycle, or stroll the country roads.

Stop for a hearty meal at a traditional local pub before arriving at the Cliffs of Moher. You will receive free entry to the cliffs and the eco-sensitive visitor center.

Take a stroll along the cliff edge and consider how tiny everything looks from above. Once we depart the Cliffs we travel alongside the edge of Galway Bay which is perhaps the most beautiful coastline in Ireland and is part of the larger, world-renowned Wild Atlantic Way.

We enjoyed the entire trip, made more memorable by the safe driving and wonderful history lessons by Tommy. Tommy also injected fun and humor during our trip, along with his caring interaction with all the riders. This trip is worth the value you pay for.

Super day trip; got to experience a range of Irish geographic areas and learn a lot about them as well as local folklore and pop culture. Our guide , Dave, was truly excellent. Quite endearing in manner and full of enthusiastic conversation, witty observations and colourful stories. It was a full day that we came away from feeling like we’d seen and done a great deal at an easy pace. Definitely highly recommend.

My dad grew up in Boston with his Irish grandparents in the same house. They never went back to Ireland after moving to the US, and his mum never got the chance to visit. He has dreamt of coming to Ireland his entire life, and when I looked over at him as we were driving through the Burren region, there were tears on his face. And that was before our first stop! It was already the Ireland he had always imagined. Things got better and better as the day went on, with our incredible tour guide Dave keeping us all informed, fed, accounted for, and thoroughly entertained. I hope he knows that his kindness, generosity, humor, and clear regard for all the people on the tour and the beauty of every area and creature we encountered are making people like my father’s lifelong dreams come true. Each aspect of the trip was more beautiful than the last, each in its own way. I want to detail everything we loved, but approaching the word limit, I’ll say: book it now! Exceeded my expectations! :)
