4. Yala National Park All-Inclusive 2-Day Safari

Spend the night in a treehouse at the 2nd largest national park in Sri Lanka and look for wildlife on an evening and early morning nature trek. Benefit from the expertise of a game ranger as your personal guide. Day 1: Following pick-up at your hotel, journey towards Yala National Park in southeast Sri Lanka. Upon arrival at Tissamarama, head to the luxurious Leopard Nest campsite and check in to one of the treehouses. Enjoy lunch at the campsite's main restaurant or at one of the many outdoor locations before some time to relax. Get back to nature with an evening game drive and look for wildlife, such as leopards in their natural environment. Return to the campsite to freshen up before drinks and appetizers around the campfire. Dinner will be served at one of many locations throughout the camp. Your experience begins as you are collected from your centrally located hotel in Galle, Unawatuna, or Mirissa. Following a meet and greet, proceed to the Udawalawe National Park. Upon your arrival to the Udawalawe National Park, you'll spend a thrilling 3 hours taking a safari onboard a Jeep. The Udawalawe National Park is one of the best places in Sri Lanka to see wild elephants. An Asian elephant herd consisting of no less than 400 of the animals is permanently residing in the park. The area is capable of sustaining large numbers of elephants, which is primarily thanks to its abundant water sources. Hundreds of elephants annually migrate to the park from nearby protected areas as well. Following your safari, your experience ends as you are transferred back to your hotel in Galle, Unawatuna, or Mirissa.

Be picked up from your hotel in Bentota or Kalutara in the early morning and drive for around 3.5-hours to Udawalawe National Park. Get up close to spectacular wildlife as you spend 3-hours on a 4x4 jeep safari tour spotting a large array of wild animals in this animal sanctuary. Sightings include wild elephants, crocodiles, jackals, deer, buffalo, and sloth bears. The next stop is Galle Fort, a Dutch fortification and UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore the houses, palaces, galleries, restaurants, cafes, and shops in this historically rich town. Get a great start to your day, with this tour collecting you from your hotel at 5:00 AM. Where you will then drive to the Yala National Park. Once at the park, hop into a Safari Jeep, for your exciting game drive.  Yala Park is situated in Sri Lanka's dry zone, made up of scrub jungles, water reservoirs, brackish lagoons, and riverine habitats. This diversity of landscapes makes it an ideal place for so many animals to live. This park has the highest population of leopards in one place in the world. Amazing day combined with the convenience of a transfer to Ella! Picked up promptly at 5 AM, and driven to Yalla. The Safari was incredible! Our guide was amazing! He helped us spot tons of animals, and the most gorgeous scenery in the park! Our highlight was when he found us a leopard! So rare! We were so lucky! After the Safari, our driver took us to our hotel in Ella. Start to finish was approximately 8 hours. Highly recommend!

It’s a very special trip, we saw leopard, fox, groups of elephants, peacocks, monkeys, wild boars, buffalos, crocodile and different types of birds. Special thanks to our tour guide Nalaka! He’s professional and friendly and make this trip extra memorable!
