Full description
After being picked up from your hotel, cross the outskirts of Bogotá and travel for 90 minutes to Fusagasugá. During your journey, make a stop to stretch your legs and take beautiful pictures of Tequendama waterfall before arriving at Coloma coffee farm to learn everything about this iconic beverage.  Upon arrival, learn about the history of the farm and the village. Dress up with a traditional hat and basket to harvest the coffee beans before discovering the complete process of production, from seed to cup. Begin the tour in the coffee seedbed, where the beans are sowed and cultivated. Next, wander through a flowering plantation of Arabica coffee, where you can see many of the varieties of coffee produced in Colombia. If its harvesting season, you will be able to help pick the best beans. From there, see where each coffee bean is washed, pulped, dried, and hand-picked. Make your way to the thresher before moving to the critical final step, the roasting of the coffee. See how this is done slowly through an artisanal process which gives the coffee its characteristic color, aroma, and flavor. Finally, end the tour with a tasting of a delicious cup of coffee. Receive a pack of coffee as a gift and try a tasty liquor made with the beans before having the chance to buy some products at the shop. Before returning to the Bogotá, there will still be time for one more stop at a local market for a tasting of exotic fruits from Colombia.

Approximately two hours drive from pick-up. It's not exactly short, but through an interesting landscape. Unfortunately the driver only spoke Spanish; but made an effort to speak slowly and clearly (which is not exactly common in Colombia). The coffee plantation tour (English) was very good and interesting, and we learned pretty much everything about coffee from first planting to drinking. At the end there was a small tasting of coffee and coffee liqueurs with a shop. The planned lunch (on your own account) was in order in terms of price and quality.

It was excellent, the tour was only for two. The car in which they took us very comfortable, the guide / driver was very good people and very committed and supported at all times. The farm is beautiful and the guide we had there, a man who had been working on the farm for 40 years, was very friendly and knew a lot about everything related to the farm and coffee. It is 100% recommended

The place is small, little activity within the tour, it is done without a guide on the way, only a driver. Either of tea or of the farm an acceptable explanation. The fruit they offer you is from a market, without cleaning.
