What people are saying about Funchal

I’d seen this trip on TV before we visited and it did not disappoint! Diogo was our guide and he was on time and extremely pleasant. He looked after us really well and we were the first ones up the mountain which was exciting! We were very lucky with the weather, arrived in the pitch black dark, sat, freezing in our chairs with our hot coffees and watched the sun come up over the island and clouds! It’s awesome and then once the sun was up we skipped about admiring the stunning views. A really magical experience. Diogo gave us as much time as we wanted to explore both aspects from the mountain top.

Both to and fro transfers services were fantastic. The drivers were on time and going to Funchal the driver gave us good information about things to do and food and drink. Would definitely use them again.

Booked & paid for in the uk. Our plane was delayed but our driver waited an hour for us. Our driver was very friendly, took our bags, & gave us a commentary of the island of things to do.

Excellent service. The driver met us at the airport and was very cordial. Gave us some Information about things to eat and do. Would definitely recommend this company.

Excellent tour with a local tour guide who knows and respect his island very well.
