Make the tricky decision of which side of Madeira to explore, and then be delighted by amazing views in an open-top 4WD jeep.  Choose to explore the east side of the island and you will visit the majestic mountain of Pico do Arieiro. Marvel at its rises to an altitude of 1,818 meters above sea level, making it the third highest mountain on Madeira. Go to Santana, famous for its triangular houses, and then discover peaceful Santo António da Serra surrounded by exotic forest. Get spectacular views from Pico do Facho and look over the valley of Machico. Then, visit the astonishing Ponta de São Lourenço and see the lighthouse that marks the extreme east of Madeira. Explore the west side of Madeira and you will go to the village of Ribeira Brava in the valley of the same name. Continue to São Vicente, famous for its vineyards, before seeing the volcanic pools of Porto Moniz. Discover the island's most extensive plateau at Paul da Serra. Make you way to the cliffs of Cabo Girão, which at 589 meters are the highest in Europe. Walk onto the glass floor balcony for a breathtaking view. End with a visit to the fishing village of Câmara de Lobos before the return journey to your original pick-up point.
