Mónica was an amazing bodyboard instructor! We went out to a beach with beginner waves in her hometown. We started off with some warm ups (which was needed!) and spent at least two hours in the water. All equipment was provided as was pick up and drop off. And the weather was perfect. I had SO MUCH FUN!! So much fun that I'm going back out with her while I'm still here :)

This experience was totally awesome. Monica was super nice and picked me up from my hotel. We went to one of the few sandy beaches on Madeira on the north coast. There she explained how to use the bodyboard and we did some warm-ups on the beach. The wather was great as well and for beginners the waves were perfect. We spent at least two hours straight in the water and after a whike i really got a hang of it. Bodyboardings is really a lot of fun, but you do need to have a bit of endurance to catch the right wave and then it is all about balance and legwork :-). I can totally recommend this to anyone who wants to enjoy the beach and the amazing coast of Madeira in a more sportive fashion.

Das Bodyboarden mit Mónica hat uns allen super viel Spaß gemacht. Wir hatten als Familie das große Glück einen "Privatkurs" zu bekommen, da vorher eine Gruppe aufgrund des leichten Regens abgesagt hatte. Mónika hat sich viel Zeit vor allem für unsere kids genommen. Die haben sich (wie wir auch) pudelwohl während des Kurses gefühlt und coole Tricks gelernt. Die kleine Inselrundfahrt zum super schönen schwarze Strand in Seixal war top.
