Go jogging deep into the Laurissilva Forest, far away from civilization. On this 18-kilometer guided moderate run, discover the hidden treasures that these mountains are hiding.   Start by running flat in a levada (irrigation channel) and traverse 2 tunnels. Admire the large and small waterfalls as you jog past and experience the humidity of this environment. Then, on the second part of the tour, push yourself to climb hundreds of steps. You’ll be rewarded with an open view to the mountains.   The last 3 kilometers, you’ll be running on a slight downward cant on the roads back to the starting point.
