Things to do in Fujairah

Journey from Dubai city center in complimentary transport to the emirate of Fujairah. Swim and snorkel among colorful sea life. Enjoy a beginner-friendly snorkeling adventure in the Gulf of Oman and experience the underwater world with ease. Upon arrival at the snorkeling location, get kitted out with equipment that will allow you to observe the underwater attractions for extended periods with relatively little effort and to breathe while face-down on the surface of the sea. Travel by boat to a snorkeling island, and then marvel at the miraculous aquatic creatures in their natural environment. Suitable for all ages, and requiring little effort, training or complicated equipment, the tour also includes complimentary soft drinks and water on board to keep you refreshed. At the end of your trip, your driver will be waiting to take you back to Dubai.

Benefit from pickup between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM and journey to Fujairah, where you will be kitted out in full diving gear upon arrival. Then, board the boat and set sail for your 1st coral reef dive of the day. Get tuition from a qualified instructor if you are a complete beginner. Learn the basics and then explore the reef with your instructor by your side at all times. After your diving experience, you can snorkel. For certified divers you will be guided by a professional divemaster and will have two dives at different locations, depending on your diving license level. Then, after diving and snorkeling, enjoy the journey sailing back to the port. Arrive between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM, where your driver will be waiting to drop you back at your hotel in Dubai.

If you want to try scuba diving, but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, this introduction program is perfect for you. This program is a quick and easy introduction to what it is like to explore the underwater world.  Start your day with pick-up from your hotel and travel to the east coast of UAE, where you will be provided with your dive outfits and equipment. Sail to the dive location and get an introduction to a colorful underwater world from your instructor, which includes a theory class on board and diving practice time at around 2-3 meters underwater. After the introductory lesson, you will experience how it feels to breathe underwater. Discover what it feels like to be completely weightless, as you put on your scuba tank and descend to a maximum depth of 33 feet (10 meters). As you explore the beautiful reef, look out for schools of fish and delight at the huge variety of shapes, colors, and sizes of marine life. 

Spend a day relaxing, snorkeling, kayaking and paddling at one of the most beautiful beaches in the UAE. You can meet an instructor if you want some guidance on how to snorkel or where the best spots are. You will have access to all the equipment you need as well as sun loungers for some sunbathing. Set against the dramatic backdrop of the Hajar Mountains in the Emirate of Fujairah, this unique beach has breathtaking views across the Indian Ocean and the famous Snoopy Island. The mosque was once known as the Ottoman Mosque, but its name comes from the person who constructed it rather that the Ottoman Empire. Enjoy amazing views from the mountain road as you travel through the Hajar Mountain range, and more, before heading back to Dubai.

This safe, fun and family friendly way to explore the magnificent corals and schools of colorful fish is suitable for all ages and abilities. All the equipment is taken care of by us. Have you ever wondered what it feels like to breathe underwater? The Discovery Scuba Diving program allows you to do just that. No experience is needed, this is the perfect way for non-certified divers to experience the wonders of the underwater world under the full supervision of our instructors. This program will give you a taster of what it feels like to be a scuba diver – you will have a short introduction to diving; learning basic equipment and safety rules and try the equipment and some basic skills at confined water before going on a short boat ride to dive on one of Fujairah’s beautiful coral reefs. Your instructor will be with you every step of the way so you can just relax and enjoy the colorful corals and marine life. This is a fun, family-friendly activity to be enjoyed with friends as a group, or as a solo traveler (You’ll make plenty of friends on the day!). Your instructor will capture and share photos of your unforgettable moments, allowing you to relax and enjoy this taster experience of the scuba diving world. On this full-day tour you’ll pass through the Al Dhaid agricultural area on the way to the coast. See how the terrain changes from colorful desert landscapes to spectacular mountain scenery. Continue along the coastline, passing small fishing villages, including the old village of Dibba. Take in stunning views of the Indian Ocean. Stop at the Al Bidya Mosque. Built in the 15th century, it is the oldest mosque in the country. Pass the port towns of Khorfakhan and Fujairah, the 300-year-old Fujairah Fort, and the fortress at the nearby Bithnah oasis. Search for pottery and carpet bargains at the Friday Market, before enjoying some leisure time for lunch at a local hotel.

Travel from Dubai to Fujairah, seeing the beauty of Islamic architecture and passing through the Al Hajar Mountains. Stop at Sheikh Zayed Mosque, Khor Fakkan, and Najd Al Masqar Heritage Village. Get picked up from your accommodation in Dubai and drive to Sheikh Zayed Mosque, the second largest mosque in the UAE. Explore this gem of Islamic architecture, with marble courtyards and high-reaching domes. Travel through the towns of Dibba, Kalba, and Sharjah, to reach the Fujairah Museum. Wander around the museum and see the displays of antique weapons and artifacts. Continue to Khor Fakkan, a coastal city with the breathtaking backdrop of the Al Hajar Mountains. Journey into Khorfakkan Square and learn about the history of the area, taking photos by the fountains, amphitheater, and waterfall. Drive through mountainous roads to reach Najd Al Maqsar Heritage Village, a fortress restored in an effort to preserve the archeological site.
