This beach is commonly known as “La Concha” (the Shell) because of its shape, although the official name is La Caleta because of the limescale oven that played an important role in the construction of the “Martiño” lighthouse. From here you can see in the distance the dunes of Corralejo, the contours of Fuerteventura and when turning your back to the sea, appreciate the unique mountain “La Caldera”. Don’t forget to visit the nearby statue of Josefine Plá, the Spanish writer, poet and essayist, who was born on the island. Take a deep breath, a bottle of water and get ready to climb the highest peak of the island. The “La Caldera” mountain is a volcanic cone of relatively recent origin. Enjoy a fantastic view of Fuerteventura and Lanzarote from its 127-meter peak. From the moment we were picked up from our hotel it was an excellent excursion. Really friendly, attentive staff. Boat was not too big and had everything on board that we needed. Scenery spectacular and we saw some dolphins!!! Well worth the time and great value.

Superb ride with Tony, discovery of magnificent landscapes and Tony taught us a lot of things about Tenerife. To end this walk, Tony offered us a drink and some snacks while enjoying a magnificent sunset. Unique experience with a very good guide.

The trip went without problems and according to the schedule. Return from the island is possible at 14:20 and 17:00.

Very easy to find, staff very friendly, no complaints and I would do it again
