Full description

Travel to the most exotic and exclusive landscapes in the south of Fuerteventura on this guided buggy trip. Experience the pleasure of adventure and let yourself be carried through the mountains on the oldest island of the Canary Archipelago.

Before starting the tour, your guide will explain via a theoretical class how to drive the buggy vehicle and interpret their signals as well as detail info about safety measures and keeping a reasonable distance. Dust goggles are also given to all participants.

After pickup, head to the Port of Morro Jable, where the group will depart, then start by navigating through the scenic Jandía Natural Park. In the midst of picturesque views, you can appreciate some of the local fauna: squirrels, goats, sheep, and donkeys.

Finally, get to the charming village of Puerto de la Cruz, better known as The Puertito, which can be found at the end of the island. There, listen to stories of this magical place before starting the return ride.

If you're looking for an adrenaline rush, then this is certainly worth it. Mostly "off-road" along mountain paths, with some stunning coastal views to the end of the island and back on the same route (which means both riders get a turn). It is windy, noisy, dusty and a little cold the day we went - but I think that's part of the fun. Quick intro video (in your native language), short safety briefing, and then off you go. No overtaking or sliding (which is sensible as there are some decent drops). Unfortunately, the equipment is old and we had several breakdowns on the trip, forcing repeated stops.

Good long trek along public paved and unpaved roads. Approx 21km each way. Dust not a problem, safety gear provided. Kids enjoyed very much as did adults. Tour guides were good characters and went above and beyond. Destination lighthouse was closed when we were there in April, presume seasonal, could have used a toilet break there! 2 buggies were replaced with quads prior which was well communicated, 1 buggy broke down en route but was well managed by guides. Overall a good experience, good for the kids, 8 and 9, and good for experienced and inexperienced adults.

The tour was fun. We were in a group with a buggy. Here you can really tackle without a servo - similar to the go-kart. The guides were in a very good mood, spoke German and the trip to Puerto de la Cruz from Morro Jable was even crowned (rather coincidentally) with the release of pigeons, which should fly back to their loft.
