  • Warsaw: Chopin Museum and Evening Concert Combo Ticket

    1. Warsaw: Chopin Museum and Evening Concert Combo Ticket

Fryderyk Chopin spent his childhood and early youth in Warsaw. Here he began to practice and compose. Discover Warsaw following the footsteps of the great composer. Start with a visit to the Chopin Museum, located in the historic Gninski Castle and one of the few multimedia biographical museums in Europe. Among the exhibits, you will find the composer’s last piano, and manuscripts of his letters and compositions. The museum perfectly combines scenography with music. You can visit the museum at a time of your choosing, and at your own pace. In the evening you will attend a Chopin concert in Warsaw’s Old Town. Listen to his music in an intimate concert hall in the left wing of the Royal Castle. Great pianists, representatives of the Polish school of interpreting Chopin’s works, will delight even the most demanding expert on his music.

  • Warsaw: Private Chopin Tour with tickets to Chopin Museum

    2. Warsaw: Private Chopin Tour with tickets to Chopin Museum

Piano virtuoso Frederic Chopin lived in Warsaw for over 20 years. On this tour, you will hear the history of this great musician. You will visit the places where his family lived, including Zamoyski Palace.  You'll also have a chance to explore the Frederic Chopin Museum with skip-the-line tickets and discover some of Chopin's instruments, music scores, and scripts handwritten by him. Other tour highlights include Kazimierz Palace where Chopin attended high school, the Visitationist Church where he regularly played concerts, and the Holy Cross Church where Chopin’s heart was transported from Paris in 1850, a year after his death. On the extended 3-hour tour option, you will have a chance to enjoy a 1-hour live concert of Chopin’s music.

We booked this guided tour which was great, really well laid out and lots of interactive exhibits. However, the prime reason that we enjoyed the museum was in large part due to our excellent guide. An avid pianist and classical music lover she detailed the life of Chopin with such passion and emotion. I particularly loved the room where you could listen to all his different works and the piano which played the music you selected which could be viewed from the overhead gallery. Thanks for a great experience.

Our tour guide and driver for our 4-hour private tour of Chopin in Warsaw was George. He was both informative and resourceful for our entire tour. For example, he knew that the regular outdoor Chopin concerts had all ended for the season (we took our tour with him on Sept. 15), so, he made sure that we got seating for the Sunday afternoon concert by a professional pianist at the birthplace in Zelazowa Wola. We got to hear a 1st-rate, all-Chopin concert played on a piano within the home where Chopin lived with his family before moving to Warsaw. My wife and I sat just outside the window of his home, and it was just as if we were overhearing Chopin himself playing a medley of his greatest masterpieces. Bravo! Thank you, again, George.

Very good and knowledgeable guide. Helped us even after the tour so that we got to the right place, the concert in the old town, with the right bus. She even followed us on the bus so that we really got it right even though she herself was going in the opposite direction

Lovely tour with lots of interesting info not only about Chopin, but also about Warsaw. Our guide, Olga, was charming, knowledgeable, and friendly. It was a wonderful introduction on our first day in Warsaw.

My tour guide knows alot and very helpful!
