Discover the culture and customs of Fonni and Orgosolo on this guided tour in the Barbagia region. See the traditions depicted in the murals and other sites of these towns while learning stories of everyday life. Start in the old town center of Fonni. Get to know local customs and traditions. After an optional lunch, head to Orgosolo, one of the most characteristic villages of Barbagia and a longstanding symbol of Barbagian resistance. See the abandoned "ghost" village of Pratobello. Witness the history of this village depicted in the murals along its narrow streets. Near the end of the tour, visit the Silkworm Museum, the only one of its kind. Watch and learn as craftsmen work through the various phases of the process.
