I didn't realise that we'd need to queue up in a separate entrance to get our ticket before going to the main entrance but we got in 09:10 so it didn't take too long! I'm unsure how difficult it would have been to get a ticket on the day so for this reason it was worth buying the Timed Entrance Ticket though we were in low season. I would say that during the summer it is essential if you don't have the time to queue up and if you don't want to risk missing the Uffizi. Also, the staff at the gallery are very friendly and helpful.

Got the tickets immediately and enteted on time. The Ufizzi is amazing and a must see for anyone interested in art. The rooms are beuatifully lit and pictures displayed with a short explanation in every room. One needs at least half a day to see the most important art works.
