    Your day of discovery begins with a walk along the medieval walls as you head toward the ancient entrance, Porta Santa Maria. Once you've reached this historic destination, you can admire how the white marble architecture stands out amongst the green lawns of Piazza dei Miracoli.     Tour guide was patient and friendly. Queue for toilets at rest stop was crazy. Plenty of time to climb Pisa, buy a few gifts and have an ice cream in Pisa.

    Pisa and the leaning tower have been on my bucket list for a while now and this was the perfect way to get familiar with the history and the city. There's not much time but I would say we had enough to climb the tower and see inside the cathedral. The local guide was really excellent!
