Interesting and informative tour with lots of additional information about Florence. We were shown also some surprising things - e.g. a small wine shop with a fresco of Dante. I definitely recommend this tour ( and in general such one ) as a crash course of Florence ( and Medici's ) history and art. One note - plan for additional walk around the Uffici Gallery. There are so many things to see there and the tour focuses on the main items, so some of the less significant, but really interesting ones are left.

The guide was informative and knowledgeable. She gave us many detail about the different art pieces in Uffizi and Accademia. It was a fruitful trip. The only thing bad about the trip was the queue into the Accademia. Even though we were holding the fast pass ticket, there wasn't a proper queue system, it was chaotic and we took almost an hour to get in.

This was one of the best tours we booked in Florence! Our guide was very knowledgeable, without spending too much time on any one subject/room/artist. We got a great overview of each location, and even a magnet to remember the tour by! The skip-the-line tour was definitely necessary, as there was already plenty of people in line, even at the earliest slot! In addition to the tour, we got a voucher for a drink and snack at a local restaurant, which ended up being so good, we even had lunch there with the 20% discount we had received from the tour operator for booking the tour. Overall, great value tour and thoroughly enjoyable. Thank you, Florence & Global Small Group Tours!
