Enjoy a 2.5-hour food tour of Florence, and experience the Cradle of the Renaissance through its culinary culture. Your tour begins at a delightful food store specializing in earthy truffles, where you’ll enjoy a glass of Prosecco with a truffle Panini. An artisan chocolate tasting is next, followed by a visit to a local olive oil boutique. The owner, Andrea, will host a balsamic vinegar and olive oil tasting, and enlighten you about the virtues of extra virgin olive oil. Learn about the history of Florence’s local and regional cuisines, while exploring the city’s small alleyways, walking through charming local suburbs. Along the way, indulge yourself with tastings of the best gelato in town, and end with a glass of Chianti served with tasty focaccia bread.

What a fabulous tour, we had a wonderful time with Linda (our guide) and the other passengers who joined on this tour. Me and a female friend enjoyed a few days in Florence, our first time and this tour provided a great insight into some local foods and wines from the area. The food samples we tasted were very tasty a good variety including breads, meats, cheeses, Olive Oil and chocolate, perfect for a sweet tooth like me. It felt we had a real "local" experience which made the tour even better. The wine which accompanied most of the food samples were also delicious. Linda pointed out some interesting buildings and facts about Florence throughout the tour which topped it off perfectly. I'd certainly recommend this tour to friends and family should they ever visit this beautiful city.

Would be PERFECT for your first day in Firenze/Florence as it helps you see the area and learn more. There was plenty of little snacks along the way as well :)
