Lovely half day trip out of Florence into the Chianti wineries. The first winery we went to was situated up in the hills with beautiful views, while the second had a great host who made all of us laugh throughout the wine tasting. We were offered 8 wines in total with salami, ham, cheese and bread as the sides with olive oils to taste. All were amazing and we didn’t feel rushed throughout the tasting. The tour started at 0830 and ended at 1330. The group we were with were all very pleasant people, as was our tour guide (sorry I didn’t catch her name but she was there on the 18/3/22 morning tour!) who was very helpful throughout. Would definitely recommend this tour and I would even come back again a second time!

I loved and am happy I did this tour. Our tour guide, Ana, was amazing. We went to 2 wineries w/ amazing wine and snacks. They explained the process of the wine and balsamic vinegar, which I learned something new. Everyone in the tour was also very friendly. I totally recommend it!

Our tour was led by Jacob and our driver was Raul, they were both awesome, sharing history and getting us there safely! The wineries had two different atmospheres, but both offered great tastings of wine, food, and olive oils. Sant’Appiano was the first winery we visited. They have a small selection that is not distributed outside of the winery, so we purchased a couple bottles of wine and their craft beer that was excellent as well. The second winery was Tenuta Torciano, and the woman leading the tasting was very helpful to show techniques to optimally taste the wine. There was a lot bigger of a selection to purchase from and they have online distribution if you choose not to purchase same day, but I would highly recommend getting products either same day, or ship them because you get a 30% discount. The wines we tried were amazing, and the infused olive oils and balsamic vinegar were to die for, I have never tasted anything else that could compare! The experience was unforgettable
