The guide was very professional. In the short time the most important pictures of the gallery were visited. Information about the gallery in general also aroused my interest. Since the entrance ticket is still valid after the tour, it is highly recommended to spend a longer time in the gallery.

Eleonora was the best guide I have ever had. She learned our names and shared with us her knowledge and passion for the paintings of the Uffizi. We saw all the highlights and she gave advice on what to see after the tour had finished. We enjoyed every moment of our time with her and learned so much about the changes in art from the medieval period to the renaissance. She gave us a deeper understanding of religious art and after her tour we were able to spot things in paintings we had not seen before. Eleonora also gave us a good background to the building and the roles of the Medici and other leading families in the history of Florence. The tour was the highlight of our visit to Florence.

Anna our guide was excellent, she arrived after the original guide was apparently sick and was called in at the last minute. We had been concerned that the tour may be cancelled as we were all waiting for someone to arrive. Anna was very reassuring and her knowledge of the gallery and the Medici family was shared in an interesting and informative way. I would definitely recommend having a guided tour as the Uffizi was very busy.
