Learn how the noble, Luca Pitti bought land from the Borgolo family on the south side of the River Arno following construction of his palace. Explore aspects of the original design by Niccolò Tribolo and later features by Giorgio Vasari, Bartolomeo Ammannati and Bernardo Buontalenti.
