Your adventurous Catamaran trip to Ile Aux Cerf begins with a hotel pick-up at your accommodation anywhere in Mauritius. You will meet and be greeted by our certified guide and after boarding to your comfortable vehicle, then set off to Trou D'eau Douce. Arriving at there at 09.15 A.M, you will board to your Catamaran to enjoy this memorable catamaran cruise from Trou D'eau Douce to Ile Aux Cerfs. The catamaran cruise starts at 09:30 a.m., departing from Trou D’eau Douce on the East coast of Mauritius. The crew members will ensure that you have an enjoyable time, and they will be happy to tell you about local tales, jokes, and to play local Mauritian music which will lift the spirits of all on board. You will start your trip with a visit to the waterfall at Grand River South East before setting sail for the island of Ile Aux Cerfs. Then, when reaching the Grand River, you will go by speed boat to visit the waterfalls which are found about 500m upstream. If you’re lucky, you’ll be able to see the curious monkeys jumping through the big old trees on the river banks. Watch the Mauritian fruit bats resting perched on the highest trees as you approach the waterfall. Following the visit to the waterfall, you will head back to the catamaran. The catamaran will then sail inside the crystal-clear water of the lagoon until stopping for a snorkeling & swimming break, where breathtaking coral reefs & tropical fish are on prominent display. After snorkeling you will enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch set on the beach or on the catamaran. We served a 3-Course menu onboard. You’ll also be treated to a selection of local drinks, including soft drinks, Juice, water, beer, wine & local rum. Then, you will be heading to Ile aux Cerfs Island which is a beautiful island near the east coast of Mauritius. This amazing island is the perfect setting for a relaxing day of sun worship. As you approach the island by the catamaran, you will see the swaying palm trees and the pure white beaches framed by the vivid turquoise waters. At Ile aux Cerf, there are a variety of invigorating activities are awaiting you such as parasailing, tube riding, and undersea walk (Optional). After doing your activities, you can take a stroll and absorb the pristine natural environment, sit back and relax on the white sandy beaches. At Ile aux Cerfs Island you are sure to have some relaxation and fun on one of the picture-postcard beaches or enjoy a swim in the azure sea. Spend a full day discovering the beautiful island paradise of Mauritius by speedboat. Depart at 09:30 am and after a short while, stop to swim and snorkel in the crystal clear waters. Enjoy the underwater marine life and swim amongst superb corals and brightly colored tropical fish. Continue sailing and see the d' Alblair shipwreck of 1902 on the coral barrier, and make a brief stop at the old Lighthouse island. Afterward, the speed boat will take you along the east coast and then upstream along the Grand River (the longest river in Mauritius), ending at a beautiful waterfall. Embark on a trip by speedboat and visit the entirety of Mauritius' southeast coast and the nearby islands in one day. The tour includes not only a visit to the famous Ile aux Cerfs island and the pristine cascade of the Grande River South East, but also to Ile aux Phares and Ile de la Passe, providing an opportunity to learn a bit of the history of Mauritius in the colonial period. The site of Ile aux Phares is where, as the name suggests, an old lighthouse dating back more than 200 years stands, now declared a historical monument. In 1810, Ile aux Phares and Ile de la Passe were the theater of a battle between the French and the British, known as the naval battle of Grand Port, which is the only victory of the Napoleonic Navy and is also listed on the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. In addition to the historic aspect of the islands, you will be made privy to a striking sight within the water. The contrast between both sides of the island is breathtaking: on one side you will find the lagoon turquoise and calm, and on the other, the big waves of the Indian Ocean smash against the breakers of the island. You will then go to Ile aux Aigrettes for a swim then back to Ile aux Cerfs, where lunch will be served. Relax and sunbathe or just chill out on the beach or in the crystal clear water of Ile aux Cerfs before returning to the meeting point in Trou d'Eau Douce.

For a lovely relaxing day at sea, spend a full day on this catamaran excursion to the heavenly island of Ile aux Cerfs. Sail within the safety of the largest turquoise lagoon in Mauritius along the historic wild east coast of the island. Your catamaran departs from Pointe Jerome, near the authentic village of Mahebourg and the Marine Park of Blue Bay, which is protected under the International Ramsar Convention. You can snorkel and swim before visiting the Grande Riviere Sud Est waterfall in its beautiful natural setting.  Here, some 18th-century ramparts can still be seen. They were witness to some tough corsair activities and naval skirmishes.
