Our most recommended things to do in Evergreen, Colorado

  • Denver: Rocky Mountain Half-Day Explorer Trip

    1. Denver: Rocky Mountain Half-Day Explorer Trip

The foothills of the Rocky Mountains bear amazing views, dinosaur tracks, and the world famous Red Rocks Amphitheater. Drive along the historic Lariat Loop up Bear Creek Canyon and enjoy closer views of the Rockies.  Take a break along the way in Evergreen for a cup of coffee or a beer. Immerse yourself in some of the Wild West feel that Colorado has to offer.  Make a stop at Lookout Mountain for amazing views of the plains and the continental divide. This is the place where Buffalo Bill, the West’s first superstar, requested to be laid to rest.

The 8 hour of Rocky Mountain national park tour was a garbage but I still want to use this app because this tour was impeccable! You visit many places within 4 hours, all of which are so worth visiting. The tour is so compact but I could have enough time for everything!

  • Denver: Red Rocks Amphitheater and Mount Evans Tour

    2. Denver: Red Rocks Amphitheater and Mount Evans Tour

Meet your friendly and knowledgeable guide in downtown Denver. From there, get comfortable in a van and enjoy the picturesque views as you drive to your first stop, the Red Rocks Amphitheater. Admire the breathtaking views in all directions from one of the world’s most unique and scenic outdoor music venues. After Red Rocks Amphitheater, your tour will continue along the scenic Lariat Loop to Evergreen. From there, you will head towards Mount Evans on a scenic bypass with panoramic views. Stop for a picnic lunch at Echo Lake and take in the majestic mountain views. Then enjoy a ride on the highest paved road in North America to the summit of Mt. Evans, at 14,000 feet. On the way back to Denver, enjoy a brief stop in Idaho Springs for a beer or some shopping.

It was a great tour that was well worth the buck. Kyle did an amazong job as our tour guide. He is well informed on many things ranging from history, wildlife, geography to some pretty good recommendations for Denver. He seemed pretty experienced driving in the narrow mountain roads up to Mount Evans, and played some good mountain jams. We took the tour on our second day in Denver. Would definitely recommend it and hope we could do a Rocky Mountain National park tour with Kyle in the future.

So good :) I highly recommend this tour. Red Rocks Amphitheater is stunning, a world class music venue built into and around prehistoric rock formations. Mt. Evans also didn't disappoint - other than the stunning views, we saw elk, marmots, and wooly mountain goats. Shay (aka Shea Butter) was our fantastic guide :) She is a great storyteller and knows a lot about the history and wildlife of the area. She kept things very interactive during a well-paced tour.
