It was a beautiful tour! We loved the small village called Rastoke, that we visited before Plivice lakes! But after we arrived on our final destination we forgot about everything! The view was breathtaking and we enjoyed the transfer from the one side to the other with the boat!! Unfortunately, we didn’t get to see the waterfalls from that close, because of the weather conditions...the paths were frozen and it was very dangerous! So, we wouldn’t recommend you to visit Plivice lakes in winter! Also our tour guide, Bruno was really friendly and kind! We definitely recommend you this tour!! It was sure worth it and we would come again someday with better weather conditions, so that we could get close to the waterfalls! It was magic!

A must visit while you are in Zagreb. The view was astounding ! Even though it was drizzling while we were there, but it was not spoiled our mood. However, I believe when the sun shone brightly, it would be a lot more beautiful. Our tour guide Antonio, a very enthusiastic young man. I joined a lot of online tour in many other countries, Antonio is the best !

In the most ideal conditions - less crowds; weather; well-informed, patient, pleasant, right-attitude tour guide; Plitvice is one of God’s best gifts to mankind! It started with a very enthusiastic and welcoming tour guide to meet us, Antonio was the sunshine to a rather dump and gloomy Sunday morning weather, and it’s just got better and better from there. Not knowing what to expect, we tempered our expectations, but the park was a sight to behold, to be one with nature is an experience like no other, that by the end of the day, all expectations exceeded! Still, I caveat that with having the right conditions I mentioned above, as I’ve heard that the park hosts more people than it could handle in the summer time! That’s unfortunate, as the park becomes vulnerable to humans’ disregard (and disrespect) for the environment. I hope it’s beauty is preserved so our children and grand children will still enjoy what we’ve been blessedly afforded!
