Full description
This overnight adventure offers an opportunity, for those short on time, to explore Uluru and Kata Tjuta. Travel in an air-conditioned 4-wheel drive and absorb fascinating information about the area and its people, provided by your experienced guide.

Day 1 (Lunch/Dinner)
After an early pick-up from your accommodation in Alice Springs (or meeting point in Uluru), you'll start by heading south to Erldunda, travelling through the Waterhouse and James Ranges, with a stop at the Camel Farm for refreshments and an optional Camel ride (not included). The next stop will be Atila (Mount Connor), a mesa tableland and the first significant rock formation you'll see on the trip.

After a stop for lunch arrive at the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. From here, head to the Cultural Centre and learn about the local Aboriginal law and religion (Tjukurpa). At the base of Uluru, meet your local Aboriginal Guide who will provide a once-in-a-lifetime authentic indigenous cultural experience with an interpretive walk to Mutitjulu Waterhole where you'll hear the stories of the unique landscapes, art and culture of the local custodians: the Anangu people.

Next, experience the famous changing colours of Uluru at sunset, away from the crowds, complete with sparkling wine and nibbles. It's a great time to kick back and contemplate the day and the vastness of the desert.

Afterwards, settle in a remote private camp, complete with a signature endless star dining experience, before retiring to your swag under the amazing night sky or your comfortable safari tent with beds.
