I left the mini van in a hurry so didn't thank J.J enough. He was one of the best guides i have ever had. He was so knowledgeable w/o being a know it all or making silly jokes. He took us on very minor roads that i have never travelled - I've been to this part of the country before but always used direct routes. He knew where places were - I wanted a particular restaurant that had been recommended and also where to buy jet and that Whitby jet was the best and why. my fellow passengers were really nice and marveled at all the rural scenes.

Traveled across the wild and beautiful Yorkshire Moors with interesting information from the guide about the terrain and the history. There were enough stops with adequate time at each. The guide was pleasant and knowledgeable and when he heard that there was an historical site that I was interested in but was not listed on the itinerary, he went out of his way to drive by it since it was very close.
