Full description
Get picked up from your hotel in the early morning and head to Borobudur Temple to witness breathtaking sunrise views. Take some time to explore the temple, one of the world's truly great ancient monuments and the single largest Buddhist structure anywhere on earth. You'll also have the option to hire a local guide and learn about the history of the area.

After the sunrise, travel to Dieng Plateau. Enjoy views along the way of rows of rice fields and picture-perfect villages clinging to terraced hillsides. Head to Telaga Warna Lake via Batu Pandang Hill. Telaga Warna Lake, or "Colorful Lake", contains water that changes color. At times it can be green, purple, yellow, or even all the colors of the rainbow. This phenomenon occurs when the sun hits the water due to its high sulfuric content.

From Telaga Warna Lake, visit Sikidang Crater, an open sulfur crater with angry bubbling mud and bellowing steam. It’s set among a bumpy and dusty landscape that will make you feel as if you've arrived on another planet. Not far from the crater, you can also visit the Arjuna Temple Complex which houses 8 small Hindu temples that date back to the 7th century. Sit back and relax as your friendly driver escorts you back to your hotel.
