What people are saying about Yogyakarta
Yoga was a great guide, fairly easy trail but lots of thick bush wear long clothes (arms/legs). Got a good glimpse of the very active volcano. We enjoyed the peace and exercise as a whole.
I booked my tour without really knowing what I was going to see. I was greeted by my friendly driver, Yuni, who had a lot knowledge on Yogyakarta history and culture. The views were beautiful and the island at Timang Beach was awesome. If you can afford it, get the lobster meal there. Yuni even took me to some extra stops at some rice terraces and another grest lookout over the city. I booked another tour with this company as soon as I got back. Thanks for a great tour!
Thank you to our witty driver Ari for recommending where to visit! We started with Ijo temple and moving on to Breski Cliff. Very beautiful locations and rich heritage of the monuments. He then brought us to this fantastic cliff-side local restaurant for our lunch (perfect!) We finished off our tour with Malioboro street night market and as well as the mall itself. Rain was pouring but it did not damp our mood, instead, the night ended with more joy, when he took the extra miles to find an umbrella for us and not rushing us to end the tour.
We are a big group of 10 passengers and needed 2 vehicles to take us around. The drivers coordinated our itineraries and made sure we saw the sights that we wanted to see. We managed to visit all the important sites, have lunch at nice restaurants that the drivers recommended and squeezed in a lot of shopping for beautiful batiks as well as other souvenirs. We even got to go to the bakpia bakery which the driver recommended. Thanks to both Juney and Ardi for being such wonderful and safe drivers.
We had a great experience by visiting Prambanan Temple. The sunset was as expecting. On the top, our guide IVAN was very friendly, told us a lot about his life and experience. Thank you, for the nice trip.
