Full description
Get ready for a panoramic trip from your hotel to the southern area of Mexico City. Throughout the route you will enjoy panoramic views of Cibeles Square, the World Trade Center, the monumental Plaza de Toros México (the biggest Plaza in the world), and the Insurgentes Theater until you reach Ciudad Universitaria. This university is home to the most important institution in the country, and is also well-known for its magnificent works by Mexican muralists, such as the facade of the Olympic Stadium, scene of the Olympic Games of 1968 (created by Diego Rivera); and The complex mural of the Central Library, which reflects the pre-Hispanic cosmogony created by Juan O'Gorman

Later on, you will continue to Xochimilco, which in náhuatl means "Field of Flowers". This area was declared World Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.

You will then get onboard of a traditional and colorful trajinera (typical wooden boat), to navigate along its mystical pluvial channels that have existed since pre-Hispanic times. The channels have been there since the Valley of Mexico was distinguished by the existence of lakes and lagoons almost in its entirety.
