Such an interesting place- great value for money for the whole family

We had such a great time when we visited. The talks were really interesting, the animals were all great to see and the tour bus ride was the highlight!

Werribee Zoo is a fabulous venue for adults and children alike.

We especially appreciated the free entry for children in the school holidays! The Zoo is wonderful with knowledgeable and friendly guides, interesting animals and fabulous grounds. The Safari train was highly informative and our group loved the dinosaur park. There are plenty of places selling food, and lovely areas for picnics.

Absolutely wonderful best school holiday day out.

Fantastic kids entry is free during the school holidays makes a very affordable day out. We had a picnic under the shady trees near the kids play ground. The safari tour is a must and absolutely brilliant you are really transported to the plains of Africa with a no cages experience seeing so many magnificent animals roaming.

You get very close to the animals in an authentic setting

Very good for families. You can take your own food. There are water bubblers for refilling water bottles and a water play area for young children. Pack a towel and swimmers. You can easily spend an entire day here.

It's great that we can see animals in the wild in suburbia

Great job guys. I was especially impressed with the tour through the different zones and to see those animals in there natural habitat was awesome. Also very impressed to see that you are working with their countries of origin to help fight extinction. We bought a large cheetah from the shop which we named Charlie who now lives on our bed in our caravan and will travel around Australia with us. Probably the only downside would be the very high cost of the food in your restaurant. We did have coffee and a muffin which I had to heat in the microwave myself (very strange) but there are lots of people who wouldn't be able to afford that luxury. Thanks for an enjoyable half a day out.
