When Mary Queen of Scots became a fellow passenger

I chose this tour because my main interest was the Rosslyn Chapel (for my love of Templars and the Holy Grail myth & well before the Da Vinci Code...), but I was pleasantly surprised by the other sightseeing included, like the Melrose Abbey. The company organizing it, Rabbie's Tour, is conveniently located in the center of town and has its own bar (perfect for a last coffee before hitting the road, or a last ....). Our driver, Mike, had a profound knowledge of the Scottish history, and of Mary Queen of Scots. He was so passionate about that we (I) felt she was travelling with us and made me like her even more than before. The tour itself is a great combination of history and countryside and well planned to ensure enough time to visit the Abbey (in Melrose) and the Chapel in Rosslyn. I will recommend not to miss any of the two, particularly the Abbey which, in my case, was a pleasant surprise.

A very professional friendly and enjoyable tour well worth the money

From the time of booking this tour online everything was delivered in a very professional manner. Everyone at Rabbies made us welcome and it was very apparent that this was not just a "history class" but a day to be enjoyed. Our guide/driver was very knowledgeable and ensured that everyone was involved, taking time to chat and welcoming questions. A very good tour well worth the money we would definitely book with this company again and will recommend them to our friends.

Deliver exactly what promised! Great tour and excelent guide

This is by far the best small groups I have ever taken. Great places to enjoy, that I knew already but Franzisca (our driver) made al the difference. Great talent to join people from different corners of the World during a day. Great selection of Scotish music during the trip and very enjoyable comments. A truly performer you could feel she is passionate to make you have a memorable day. A must in Edimburgh!

Great way to see sites outside of the city! Relaxing, no stress.

Not just for Outlander fans! Our guide Kevin was great - he covered interesting information relevant to each site visited as well as Scottish history. It is a great way to get to sites outside of the city with no stress and plenty of time to explore and enjoy a coffee and scone in the village of Culross and lunch in Linlithgow, the birthplace of Mary, Queen of Scots. I loved it! Thank you.

Need a simple colour guide giving back up information to all places

Back up guide should be included or at a reasonable cost giving the customer back up information for later reference, act as a souvenir, advertise the tour to potential customers - Outlander items could be sold as a reminder eg all the ladies love Jamie - a picture of Jamie, copy of music from seriies (my wife had a wine glass mat with Jamie on it & loved it)
