Full description
Your tour begins in Vladivostok central square, an area home to the soviet era monument to the fighters for the soviet power in the Russian far east, as well as the famous GUM, which many historians believe to be the very first shopping mall in the world. You will proceed to the Arsenyev Regional Museum, before then making your way to the railway station. On your way to the station, you will pass the mischievous Chinese Quarter, Millionka, as well as the Arbat walking zone, the two remaining Stalinist Empire style apartment houses (the so-called "Grey Horse") and the birth-house and monument of famous American actor Yul Brinner.

Following this, your route will continue to the Eagle Nest view point, which offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the Vladivostok city center. Afterwards, you will advance to the Golden Bridge, which erected over the Golden Horn bay connects the two largest peninsulas of the city, allowing access to the formerly most remote corners of Vladivostok in 5 minutes. On your way you will pass by the modern Opera house, as well as drive by the older districts of the city.

Having crossed the Eastern Bosphorus straight between the island and the mainland, you will return to the city center to visit the last highlight of the day: the memorial site at Korabelnaya ("ships") Promenade. This site includes the Guard Torpedo Submarine S-56 museum, the Nikolaevskaya Triumphal Arch, the Eternal Fire and the Stela to the founders of Vladivostok. At this place on the 2nd of July 1860, Russian officers first landed and started the marine base Vladivosto. Nowadays in this spot you can find the headquarters of the Russian Pacific fleet. You can stroll along the promenade watching battle cruisers and private boats, crawl through a real submarine, and don't forget to make a wish right under the triumphal arch, it always works!
