Full description
Enjoy a full-day excursion on a speedboat off the coast of Hvar, with the first stop on your trip at the spectacular Blue Cave.

The Blue Cave’s ethereal silvery blue color is created by the sun as it bathes the cave’s interior through an opening in the roof and is reflected back by the sandy surface below.

Continue on the cruise to Stiniva Bay. Seeing it from the sea side, Stiniva is closed in by 2 high rocky cliffs which, at their closest point, are just 4 meters from each other. Between the cliffs you’ll see a pebble beach appear as you sail through the gateway, opening up the site like a Roman amphitheater paved in stone.

Continue to the Green Cave, where you'll have a chance to enjoy a swim, before heading to the little island of Budikovac, another ideal spot for a swim and a chance to relax. You’ll find a wonderful pebble beach, a small bay, protected from the open sea, and a beautiful lagoon for swimming on the southeastern side of the island of Vis.

On the way back from Vis Island to the island of Hvar you'll stop at Palmižana on Pakleni islands.

We did the Blue and Green Cave Speedboat tour with skipper and tour guide Leon. What a fantastic day! There were only 7 of us on the tour, which made it feel really exclusive and private, which was great! We started off early and came across a whole pod of dolphins that surrounded us, which was absolutely surreal. Stiniva Bay and The Blue Cave were absolutely incredible and a must do! The only downfall was the waiting time at the drop-off point for the Blue Cave, but there is a little pebble beach where you can swim while you wait. The wait is well worth it, as the Blue Cave is something truly magical and incomparable to anything! The Green Cave was quite disappointing, but we didn’t go to the cave at 12pm which is the only time you get to see the true experience of the green light shining through the cave. I wish we had been able to see it at this time, but it seemed impossible with the distance between the Blue Cave and Green Cave. Leon was fantastic, helpful and very knowledgable.

Wonderful day

Had a great day going to the most beautiful little beaches, with lovely little bars. Blue cave was pretty but really the best part was exploring the wonderful beaches. Leon the boat driver/tour leader was really good, very accommodating and knew how to manage the boat in choppy seas. Highly recommend this day out
