What people are saying about Villa of the Mysteries
You still have to stand inline to get the ticket but it is a much shorter one and moves much quicker. Note: if you need an audio guide you need to stand in another line too. Pompeii itself is huge and a thorough visit can take multiple hours. There are many great sites to see which are quite different than each other. Villas, temples, stores, a forum, multiple theaters, and more.
I booked a tour with another company who brought me to Pompeii...they didn't have fast track and got through the gate faster than I did, guess it depends on when you go. The weather was dreadful with torrential rain which didn't help the trip but it was still very interesting to see.
It works well but the ticket you are emailed to download doesn't actually get you in... You get sent back to the ticket queue and go to a window for fast track customers and they then give you a paper ticket. Bit odd that you can't get in with your ticket on your phone
Tickets were fantastic, arrived at Pompeii and went to fast track section and there was no queue, others on our trip who didn’t have the fast track pass had to wait in a huge queue to get in, highly recommend these tickets
There was no line to skip in our case. Also as mentioned in the “one sentence” Aguirre trip would have been better (we just couldn’t make the time). It is too big to effectively do alone. Totally worth going to.
