Our guide was great but finding her was difficult!

Although we arrived at the meeting point in good time, because there were so many other groups in the area it was very difficult to find our guide which was quite stressful. Other members of the group had the same problem. This caused quite a long delay and this could have been avoided if the guide had identified herself more clearly. Once we got going we enjoyed the tour and our guide clearly knew her stuff and was happy to answer questions. The group was perhaps a little too large and at times when we were spread out, it was difficult to hear what she was saying because she was out of range of the headset.

Pompeii - always worth a visit - a must if you have not been

The history is in itself humbling - the scale of the city and destruction is quite breathtaking as it was a big city - i did feel it was over sanitised a bit and the audio was helpful but a pain to return. Take plenty water and maybe a bit of prep before you go so you can either adopt an itinerary or do your own. When next in area i may do the sister city - but still wow!

Loved the site, but wanted to stay longer than the audio guide lasted

Online collection of ticket was super fast, but had to line up with others for audio guide. Guide is a phone and batteries only meant to last 4 hours - plan a trip back to the booth to swap if you intend to stay the whole day (which unfortunately I didn’t think of until after).

Amazing trip, amazing guide and lunch was included.

An opportunity you can’t miss seeing one of the most famous ancient cities dedicated to the Goddess Venus and one of the most preserved ancient holiday destinations. For all history buffs, archeological enthusiasts and day trippers, go and you won’t be disappointed

Wonderful tour - beautiful country and a true magician driving the bus

The was a truly beautiful tour, I would highly recommend it. The only real complaint I had is that the seats in the bus were very uncomfortable and not terribly accommodating for long legged people. I was scrunched like a sardine and it was a long tour.
