The concert was excellent, our seating was terrible, couldn't see well

The concert itself was excellent., the orchestra, singers and conductor were all very good. Unfortunately, we could hardly see anything from where we were sitting. We were right in the corner behind a statue and had to stand most of the time. Also although the dress code was supposedly a formal/black tie event nearly everyone in there were dressed very casually with jeans and trainers. We could have gone more casually too and not packed extra formal clothes in our suitcases that we didn't need. Just write 'no dress code' so people know, like they do for other concerts I checked out!!

Excellent concert. However, It came as a surprise that jackets are not allowed in the concert hall. Further, there is a charge of 0.85 euro for depositing the jackets at the wardrobe counters. I think this should be made known at this website or at the ticket office. We did not know until we were stopped at the entrance and we have to fight the madness and long queue to deposit our jackets and queue again to get to the entrance of our section. When we reached inside, there were many who had their jackets on. Apparently, this rule is not enforced for all. This part is really annoying.

Great concert but bad audience

The concert was excellent, and it is the most important thing. But, the information from GYG, that concern to dress code/black tie, were absolutely incorrect. The most of people was in everyday clothes or in shorts and t shirts for the beach. Within the audience, there were some very young kids who disturbed others with crying, coughing and temper tantrum. Also, exchanging tickets at the box office, that was demanded through GYG from 3 till 5 o'clock p.m., was not possible until 7 p.m.
