From Victoria Falls: 2-Day Hwange National Park Safari

Get picked up from your hotel in Victoria Falls and head to Hwange National Park. Reach the safari starting point around 8:30 am and go on a full-day game drive with lunch at a picnic spot in the park. Enjoy a safari experience that rivals the great parks of East Africa – the Serengeti and Masai Mara – but without the crowds. 

Check out the park's numerous waterholes which act as magnets for the native wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for the park's large elephant population, which dominate the waterholes in the afternoon. In addition, spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, rhinos, buffalos, impalas, kudu, sable, eland, waterbucks, zebras, giraffes, baboons, and warthogs. After the game drive, stay overnight in the park and listening to the sounds of roaring lions and trumpeting elephants as you drift to sleep.

Wake up for an early game drive in order to spot nocturnal cats. If you're lucky, you might spot a leopard chasing its prey up a tree or lions feasting on huge buffaloes. Afterwards head back to Victoria Falls in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle.
