What people are saying about Venice

Good price for what you got - shame about the weather

I enjoyed the boat rides - although none of the commentary could be heard if outside on the one boat with outside seating and not much could be seen through dirty windows when seated inside on the inside-seating only boats, although could hear description well. Unfortunately a thunderstorm hit while we were on the second island, which was ok as was a little town and could duck into shops etc., but it was bucketing down on the third island where it was all totally exposed and everyone got soaked as we were not allowed to stay on the boat (although there was small ferry terminal building nearby that many people crowded into to shelter for the hour). Enjoyed the second island, Burano, the most.

Punctual and lovely - just a bit crammed

I booked the morning on the internet and it is much cheaper than booking at the station. They had to get phone clearance with my booking number because it was done so late via the internet, but that was not a problem at all. The tour is very nice hopping on and off several boats. I suggest that they do a trip with only Burano and Murano to have more time to spend there. You really don't have enough time before you have to catch your next boat - next time I would actually spend the whole day at Burano.

Absolutely amazing and surprisingly tranquil!

Booked priority entrance and it took less than a minute to be inside despite most of Venice being packed. It really was amazing inside and not too busy at all. The rooms were amazing in size and decoration our seven year old particularly liked the armoury collection and prison. It was amazing being able to walk across the bridge of sighs. The cafe was actually very good too and had tables with views of punts passing by. Definitely worth a visit.

Excellent tour-expect a little wait in the queue

The content of this tour is wonderful. Audio guide is thorough and comprehensive. We were a little surprised that the pre-booking does not not allow quicker acces to the Palace. The staff allow chunks of the three queues (no ticket, pre-paid and groups) through in turn to regulate acces to the Palace and no one que is favoured. Having said this once inside the tour is excellent.

Missed important sections as not wheelchair accessible

Our guide was very knowledgeable and we thoroughly enjoyed listening to all the information she was giving us. However it says it’s wheelchair accessible- in a way it was but you had to split up from your tour group and go to different areas to get lifts so you missed chucks of the tour as your headset went out of range. Including the bridge of sighs
