Memorable experience made possible by a wonderful guide!-Stefano

I am an enthusiastic amateur photography( and travel) enthusiast. Stefano , our guide and a native Venetian and professional photographer, provided my wife and me with a memorable experience as he guided us through the byways of Venice. He provided me many tips on improving my photography while introducing us to Venice through the eyes of a native. In our 3 hours we experienced most of the well known landmarks while also seeing beautiful nooks and crannies that the average visitor would miss without a guide like Stefano. Because we were out on the early side, the crowds were minimal. I highly recommend a tour with Stefano who is as warm and humane as he is knowledgeable.

Exceptional and memorable tour of Venice

My family thoroughly enjoyed this tour with Stephano. Before we even set off on the tour, we were contacted by a lovely professional lady and owner of the company, regretfully can’t recall her name. Thank you for all your kind support in arranging the tour with Stephano. As a local Venetian, professional photographer and warm and kind soul, we really enjoyed seeing Venice at first light and uncovering all the hidden gems, canals, history, etc. he even bought my family coffee and pastries and took the time to teach us techniques on how to use both camera and iPhone cameras. When mosquitoes were bothering my daughter, he took us to a supermarket to purchase mosquito repellent. Showed us places to visit and restaurants to eat in. We have photos and memories that will last a lifetime and many more. Thank you Stephano for your expert guidance, your professionalism and warm and kind spirit!!! Hope to stay in touch.

Our walk with Simone was a top highlight of our trip to Venice. We met early (about 7:00 am), before the crowds had arrived. We were able to watch Venice come alive in the morning, and to photograph charming streets and squares when they were virtually deserted. Simone filled us on fascinating historical details about Venice and the neighborhoods and buildings we visited. Simone showed us places where we could take unusually characteristic photos, and advised on how to get the best shots. But this is not a trip just designed for experts: anyone with a point-and-shoot camera could come away with marvelous images and not feel intimidated. Simone ended our walk at a tiny cafe where we had marvelous snacks and wine and reviewed our journey. While it is true you can discover much of Venice's mystery by strolling on your own, you may not know what you have seen without the help of a native guide like Simone. We highly recommend him.
