What people are saying about Venice

Highlight of our 10-Day European Vacation!!

We booked a two hour photo tour of Venice through Get Your Guide. The weather was very overcast that day with some intermittent light rain... I was nervous how the day would turn out & if my wife would enjoy the photography. In short, Vinicio's photography tour ended up being one of our absolute favorite things that we did on our ten-day European trip (Paris, Venice, Amalfi Coast & Rome) - I strongly recommend it!!! We travel very frequently (and always take our Canon DSLRs along). The vast majority of our vacation pictures end up being of our young kids. On this trip, however, the kids weren't allowed along (Paris work event). We joked with Vinicio that we weren't exactly sure what we were going to take pictures of on our trip without the kids there. :-). He not only provided a lot of good tips on DSLR settings & composition techniques, but also showed us a side of Venice that we quite honestly would not have appreciated. The pictures turned out great & we loved the tour

Venice 2-Hour Photography Tour Reviewed by David, 05/24/2017

This was the best possible decision we made in Venice.

The Challenge: See Venice in less than 24 hours. (You're joking right?! Sadly no, it was a waypoint on our journey) So we didn't have high hopes, especially when we arrived during some drizzle. That blew the first evening's hopes of seeing the legendary city.. We made peace with taking a break the first night and making the best of what we could by 8PM the next day. Hopeless, right? Stefano took us on at short notice. I love photography and when I saw their portfolio my mouth dropped... Stefano is a perfect Venetian guy. He is so down to earth and generous with his knowledge he really is a highlight in Venice that any photographer can learn from. He is an excellent teacher and allows you to learn at your own pace. Any technical question I had he answered in a flash! No punt intended lol What a wonderful tour. He took us off the beaten path and out of the crowds to see parts of Venice that would clearly have been missed. It al

Exceptional and memorable tour of Venice

My family thoroughly enjoyed this tour with Stephano. Before we even set off on the tour, we were contacted by a lovely professional lady and owner of the company, regretfully can’t recall her name. Thank you for all your kind support in arranging the tour with Stephano. As a local Venetian, professional photographer and warm and kind soul, we really enjoyed seeing Venice at first light and uncovering all the hidden gems, canals, history, etc. he even bought my family coffee and pastries and took the time to teach us techniques on how to use both camera and iPhone cameras. When mosquitoes were bothering my daughter, he took us to a supermarket to purchase mosquito repellent. Showed us places to visit and restaurants to eat in. We have photos and memories that will last a lifetime and many more. Thank you Stephano for your expert guidance, your professionalism and warm and kind spirit!!! Hope to stay in touch.

A not to be missed and unforgettable day trip from Venice.

Our guide Simone was sensational. He was friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable and good fun to be with. Also a good driver. Starting at Piazzale Roma in Venice, we were able to locate Simone easily, due to the clear directions we were given. The trip was unhurried and informative, with regular stops. It was an easy and very enjoyable day, exploring a gloriously beautiful part of Northern Italy, that while only two hours from Venice, was an entirely different experience. Highly recommended.

The Basillica and Doges tour was spectacular but skip the boat ride...

We really enjoyed the tour of the Basillica and Doges Palace. The guide was very knowledgeable and fun to listen to. She was also very good at answering all our questions. The boat tour was another matter. I would not waste my time . The boat was small and unless you were willing to stand for the whole tour, the sight lines were miserable. The tour leader was very unpleasant and the entire time I was on the boat I wished it was over. So uncomfortable .
