What people are saying about Venice Biennale
Nicely located. Art presented well. Enjoyed the temporary exhibit - well put together. Followed his early years through the older years We also had a great experience with the cafe staff as my husband was not feeling well that day. A good representation of varied artists. Also enjoyed the statuary pieces.
We wandered through the museum on a Thursday afternoon. It was a little busy but we were able to linger over pieces that we were interested in. I especially loved the Picassos and Pollacks and the Calder pieces. All very beautiful and worth the time if you are a fan of modern art.
Modernist art in one relatively small & beautiful space--ciujdnt ask for more. Peggy Guggenheim was a woman of real vision, and this became her final resting place in all senses. The art is her legacy. It cannot be moved from there. Go, see, and enjoy. . .
Had wonderful afternoon viewing amazing collection. The house is perfect for such a collection, & of course beautifully positioned on Canal with lovely garden in front. Having the ticket pre booked saved time queuing to go in. I will definitely return.
Well worth a visit, stunning collection of works that helps explain the history of modern contemporary art. The gardens are peaceful and beautiful and provided a quiet sanctuary amongst the chaos of Venice.
