What people are saying about Valparaíso
Jeff is extremely enthusiastic and knowledgeable about Valparaiso. He loves the city and shows and explains why. It is one of most unique places in the world and I would encourage everyone to experience the wonderful place.
We were due to stay in Valparaiso after a two week cruise. WE thought the best way to get an understanding of the city and its history was to do a short tour. Our guide, Jeffery, was excellent. He was an American living in the city and he talked with the knowledge and enthusiasm of a local. The whole 4 hours was full of interesting facts and we saw places we would have otherwise missed. I am glad we did the tour right at the beginning as it gave us a great insight to the city and how it is laid out. Navigation afterwards was simple. Great tour, great fun excellent value.
Wife and I had a great time with our guide, Victor. He showed us some unique places that we would not have seen on our own. He brought his guitar and played several songs along the way that only enhanced the experience.
Suzanne and I had hip problems but Elena managed that we strolled the Valparaiso streets at out pace and our driver would pick us up very frequently so we would have to much walking to do. Besides that Suzanne and I are french speaking from Montreal and we found out that Elena was fluently french speaking so our tour was the most enjoyable . Many many thanks to Elena.
on time pick-up by guide and driver, clean car, excellent English, after the Valparaiso sight-seeing (by car and walking) there was a lunch stop in Vina del Mar. drop-off at Santiago Hotel in time.
