Full description
El Carmen is one of the oldest and most characteristic districts of Valencia. The area has evolved and transformed itself after difficult periods, and has been a neighborhood for Arab refugees, crafters and prostitutes. From the aristocrat area next to Cavallers Street, to the bohemian culture, artists and crafters that occupy its streets today, it's a center for nightlife, students and tourists who enjoy drinks and cocktails here. People have integrated well into El Carmen over the years and retained their traditions in harmony with the indigenous inhabitants.

You will walk around its passages and small streets and see the Arab wall ruins, the Christian wall doors, taking you on a journey through over 2,000 years of history!

You will end up tasting the local cocktail Agua de Valencia, made with white wine and orange fresh juice, and a tapita to recover some energy!

You will see also: Torres de Serranos, Torres de Quart, Calle de Caballeros, Plaza San Jaume I, Plaza del Carmen and much more.
