What people are saying about Valencia
I visited Valencia for Christmas as a single tourist and my guide Eduardo made an unforgettable event of it. I was the only customer on that day, but he did not cancel my tour either! Totally private! Many thanks!!! Everything was even better than in the offer. Eduardo took me from my hotel comfortably by car to the wonderful Calatrava center and explained all about the different buildings, showed them from different perspectives. They were closed in the afternoon because of Christmas, but the area has a lot outside, as well. Then we went to the highest building of Valencia, where I was invited to the company rooftop appartment with a nice room, kitchen and a terrace with perfect view. Sunset over the city with different wines and variety of tasty tapas prepared freshly for us by a very kind lady cook. Talking about different life issues in Valencia, continuing at the table in the room with gentle music. By car to hotel + finally a lovely Christmas present as a surprise! Just perfect!!
We had a New Years Eve booking (as a family of 4) and joined another family of 4. It was a perfect group size for the experience. We were collected from the door of our hotel and chauffeur driven to the science park. The guide, Nacho, was very knowledgable and gave us a great insight to this side of town. We then went up 30 floors to be served food and wine overlooking the city and of the quality and service that you would expect in a fine-dining restaurant - compliments to all involved! Each course was well presented and articulately described with relevance to the Valencian traditions and history. The sunset views of the city were incredible and the whole experience was unforgettable for me, my fiancée and my parents! Would highly recommend!
I’m not big on tours but this one was amazing. Eduardo was great. He didn’t talk too much and didn’t withheld information either. It was a great balance between providing history behind the architectures and allowing you to enjoy the scenery. Food was amazing, the wine tasty, the only thing Eduardo can’t do well is take pictures, lol. I definitely recommend this tour.
It is always fantastic to visit the Oceanographic. Alway worth to get repeated!!! The only thing I did not like at all regarding the online booking process was the following: I ordered through Get-your-guide my entrance tickets. I got the PDF-documents for the print-out (I was advised to do so!). We went 2 adults, 2 kids and 1 baby. Waiting in line to go through the entrance at already 30 degrees in the morning, finally it was our turn and then!!! we got advised that this was no entrance ticket - that we would have to go to the cash point! So we had to stand again in line in order to get our "valid tickets" and after that the second time in line to go through the entrance. In my opinion that online booking process does not make any sense at all as at the end it cost us much more time and inconveniences. That is definitely something I was not happy with at all - but other than that the experience and the great time spent in the Oceanographic is always worth to get repeated.
We spent 6 hours looking around and even late teens enjoyed it all. Dolphin show worthwhile and makes attempt to educate about the perils our seas facing in a fun way. 4D hurricane experience worth the extra. Plan your time around the shows.
