Full description
Make your way to End of the World Station and board the world-famous heritage End of the World Train. The first stop along this historic narrow-gauge railway is La Macarena Station, where you can enjoy a 15-minute stopover to disembark for photos or a take a short, scenic walk. Listen out for the train's whistle which indicates it’s time to move along to the next location.

Back onboard the train continues further into Tierra del Fuego National Park, the only coastal national park in Argentina. Pass through an area known as the Tree Cemetery, where convicts once cleared trees more than a century ago. Cross over the Pipo River, and after about an hour on the train, arrive at National Park Station. From here, you're free to explore the national park for the remainder of the day (or longer) or return on the next train back to End of the World Station.

The entire round trip journey aboard the train lasts about 2:15 hours. Throughout the journey, a multilingual guide is on hand to offer information about the train and the region's history.

Really enjoyed the train journey and the seats were absolutely fine not cramped at all. There was an extra fee to pay for the national park but it was definitely worth it, absolutely stunning views and lots of walking too. We only took the one way journey as we had booked a taxi to take us around the national park, I think a few other people did that too. There should be an option to do a one way trip as it was pricey for a 45 minute ride, loved the train though.

Beautiful landscape and very good guided indications. Highly recommended as it is a picturesque walk and with adequate time. The photo (optional) adds a detail to the tour. We travel as a tourist and the premium is not justified unless food is considered essential during the tour. There is discount for retirees.

It was a thoroughly successful tour with the steam train. The journey takes about 40 minutes there and 40 minutes back. We also received drinks and food in the first class, including a souvenir photo (included in the price). We took the train at 3pm and it was a real experience. The staff was very courteous and helpful and made our stay as easy as possible. It is also very gratifying that the audio guide you receive can also be set to various languages (including German). The following has to be observed: You have to register with the online tickets at the ticket counter in the building, then you will receive the original ticket, also the park entrance has to be paid (if you go to the park again the following day, please note that you have to take a 2- Day pass for the park). Criticism points: After our return, the shops in the station (starting point) were all closed.
