What people are saying about Ubud
The tour was fantastic, a very good way to see Ubud and the more traditional side of Bali that you don’t get to see so much in Seminyak etc. My driver Putu was very friendly and helpful and answered all of my questions about Balinese culture (and I had a lot!). As a solo female traveller I felt very safe with him and he was great company too with a good sense of humour (which is important when you’re spending 9 hours with someone!). I loved all of the tour but my favourite parts were definitely the monkey forest, the volcano and the coffee plantation. I’d definitely recommend this tour and Putu to anyone interested in exploring Ubud!
We loved our morning, highlight of our holiday so far. I cannot commend our guides Sapri and Rappi enough, they were wonderful in making us feel very comfortable throughout the experience. They were both so kind and really took the time to make our experience the best it could be. Highly recommended experience all around.
This activity was really amazing. It is a must activity to do in bali. the river was very clean and more rapid compared to ayung river. As for the lunch, the lunch was great and clean. An overall, the price was great and reasonable.
"Welcome to the jungle." Those are the first words from our guide upon arrival at the Balinese cooking school where this magical evening begins. Picked up from our hotel in Ubud by Wayan, we took a scenic, 45-minute private car ride with a lovely couple from Australia. It had begun to drizzle on the way out, which made the farm more lush and tropical. We were greeted with a choice of welcome drink and led on a tour of the farm. The guides prepared a delicious meal for us before we headed out on a foot tour of the local village. We stopped by a school of girls practicing traditional Balinese dances before our guide Keta showed us a typical home. We hiked out to the rice fields, where we were treated to a mystical light show of fireflies, sipping on a hot drink. Tips: 1) use the restroom after dinner/before hiking out to the fireflies (you drink a lot, and the ride home can be long); 2) bring some candy or stickers to give to the village children at the school
Our guide Padra / Patrick as he calls himself was so nice, he put lot of effort in showing us the best spots and was so helpful when we needed anything!! I only can recommend this trip.
