What people are saying about Tuscany

Unquestionably the best way to experience the Uffizi Gallery

Our guide, Irina, was an artist and had exceptional knowledge of art history and the development of styles/periods. Waiting time was minimal and our entire tour was efficiently executed. The guide kept us together and led us through the gallery, focusing on strategic works that demonstrated the period or specifically important artists. Her delivery was passionate and her knowledge exceptional. If it wasn't for her guidance, we could easily have spent an entire day in the gallery and learnt very little. This definitely the best way to visit the Uffizi Gallery.

Great tour with a knowledgeable, fun and very enthusiastic guide

Our family of three, mum, dada and 12 yo daughter joined a tour led by Christian. We were in a group with two other people, which was great to be ina. Small group. Christian was extremely engaging and knowledgeable and displayed a real passion for the area and the stories of Florence. Not to mention the quick access to the cathedral, museum and, of course, the cupola climb. We would definitely recommend this to others.

Saw a Florence that I never would have known existed...a lovely city!

The only disappointment was that our original tickets were for the day when a student climate protest paralyzed Florence. We were not able to get to the bus and when we finally had time to use the tickets, they had expired. Had to purchase new tickets. We enjoyed the ride but the money that we lost because of tickets that we could not use due to local civil unrest has left a bad taste.

The bus trip and bus guide were excellent

The guided tour was so bad, we gave back our receivers after the first 20 minutes. The transmission and static made it almost incoherent and a waist of time. The guide himself should find a different job. Worst guide I’ve ever had even trying to listen to his disinterested canned speech. We almost missed the tour because instructions did not take us to the right location.

Informative & good value option to avoid the public queue!

The tour was worthwhile as a method to avoid the longer public queue, although the Accademia itself was still very busy once we got in. The guide was very informative & knowledgable, which really added to the whole experience. If you really want to see David when it is quieter, look for one of the early entrance options!
