Keep warm with hot beverages and enjoy a sandwich. Sit back and simply admire the whales, if you wish, or get involved with the whale research onboard. Collect behavioral observations, photo-identification, underwater footage, and vocal recordings of these magnificent creatures.

When the conditions are right, deploy a hydrophone and listen to the enchanting songs of the whales. If you get lucky, spot the Aurora Borealis dancing in the sky as you make your way back to Tromsø after your whale watching and research experience.

Great guides, very hospitable. We were lucky to see orcas and humpback whales. Guys from this company really do some whale study, so they can give you extra info. The sea was very rough however the ship did really well and what's important - there were really only maybe 20 people on tour. I would highly recommend.

It is definitely worth taking the 3 hour journey to the ship pier! The Wildseas team is very enthusiastic and offers a lot of information about whales. We were very lucky and were able to observe numerous orcas and humpback whales in the fjord in the best weather. During the trip you had the opportunity to warm up with a hot cup of tea below deck. Finally, a tasty little snack (hot soup and baguettes) was served before the drive home. I would book this tour again at any time! Many thanks to the entire Wildseas team for this unforgettable experience!
