Full description
This tour is led by a passionate, professional, experienced and easy going team that will take you to the most aesthetically pleasing spots. Before picking you up from the meeting place, your guide will carefully analyze the weather forecast in order to take you to the areas where the clearest sky is expected during that night. Tromsø is a great place to start the chase. It is located nearby many microclimates where the weather conditions vary from the ones in Tromsø.

Once a proper location to observe the Aurora Borealis has been found, the bonfire begins. The menu consists of hot drinks, lamb or soy sausages, and cookies. Your group will be small so everyone can get to know each other, and you can get the most out of the experience. Thermal suits and heat packs are provided to make sure that you stay warm and cozy during the tour.

Your guides are passionate about photography, especially when it comes to taking the night shots of the Northern Lights. All pictures taken during the tour will be sent to you the next day. It was a great experience chasing the northern lights! Our guide was Adrien, and he was knowledgeable about the weather and the places to catch the lights. We felt a little disappointed initially as we waited for close to 4 hours without seeing the lights (due to cloudy weather), but our guide felt that there was a chance to see the lights at where we were, hence we waited, and finally they appeared! We expected to see green lights (as what we always see in photos), but were surprised when the lights seen with the naked eye is more white/yellow. Nevertheless, it was a breath-taking sight and a wonderful experience!

Even though the weather was cloudy our guide knew areas with less cloud cover, all the guides were in a group chat to communicate where good areas were, we were so lucky because we got to see an amazing display of northern lights. The hot chocolate and reindeer hotdogs around the campfire were also very tasty.

had to travel for hours to find clear skies, into Finland. This did not deter our guide George and driver. He just wanted to give us the best chance of a viewing.Set up camp in a snow covered field in temps of -22c. Gorge took some super photo's,at considerable risk of frostbite to his fingers and camera!!
