What people are saying about Tromsø
Robin and Jess our guides were the nicest guys ever, they looked after us in the dark and cold for hours until we eventually got to meet the green lady. We had such bad weather the whole drive but they kept our spirits up and kept us safe and entertained and fed on the road. For the price and the experience you really cant beat it. Please check them out.
Had a lovely trip. Sadly no whales but enjoyed none the less. Caught some fish for a soup lunch, very tasty. Captain and crew very friendly and helpful.
The tour leader, George, was very attentive, helpful, gave lots of curio about Tromsø and Norway, gave information about northern ligts, was very friendly, and helped some to adjust their cameras to take pictures of northern lights. We were driven to the Grøtfjorden where we not only saw northern lights but we had an epic view of the fjord. The scenery was amazing. George took photos of us and northern lights. There were hot drinks of choice and no limits:blackberry juice, coffee, chocolate;we had a fire, organiser provided seats and warm clothes; there was also hot vegetable soup by the fire, made by Polish cook, which was very delicous; marshmelloes, and hotdogs with extras the way everyone liked. There were also cookies and fruit, so no one was hungry, thursty and cold. In the end late night we were taken safe to everyone`s hotels` door. The adventure was excellent and better than I expected. I fully recommend, and hope to take part in another northern lights hunting with Polar Adventures!
Our guides went above and beyond to make sure we had the optimal views. The tour is late at night, so the guides helped with making sure my small children were comfortable and had snacks. The lights were amazing, the entire tour was an absolute gem. 100% recommend this to everyone!
Choosing Polar Adventures for our Northern Lights chase was the best decision we made for our Tromsø trip. Peter and Tina were the best guides ever! Peter made sure to bring us to the best spot to view the lights, using his knowledge and experience. He was also an expert photographer and made perfect shots of us with the Aurora. Tina was a great storyteller and very funny too!!! We enjoyed her stories and songs around the camp fire, learned a lot about Tromso, its history and culture, while she ensured we were warm with overalls, offering us with hot minestrone soup, hot black currant juice, hot chocolate with mallows, coffee, tea, cookies, fruits, and unlimited hotdogs with buns. They made the most out of the night. We appreciated you dropping us off by our hotel door and making us feel welcome, warm and at home. This was an experience we will never forget, a memory for a lifetime. Thank you, Peter and Tina, for making this happen. Love from the Philippines! ❤️
